As we know, there are different kinds of LED chips, we divide them below in four ways to have a better overview of their features and use.
Chip LED DIP, chip SMD LEDs, chip LED to strong power and chip LED COB.
-Chip LED DIP (dual in-line package)
These early models are the best-known LEDs. The most frequently used DIP leds are DIP leds 0, 06W, they have a decomposition of fast flux as new generations. This led technology offers a real alternative to the replacement of mercury-based bulbs. The SMD chips allow manufacturers to automate production, improve quality control, to then introduce a product that offers the following benefits: better distribution of heat, light output higher (high light output) and a longer total lifetime of 50,000 hours (low decomposition of the luminous flux) than its predecessor, the DIP – LED defined on LISTOFLEDLIGHTS.

-Chip high-power LED
How do we define the “high power”? Watts beyond 0, 65W are considered LED chips at high power. The most used high-power LED chips are 1W, 2W and 3W.
These are designed to produce more light than the usual classic LED to smaller powerful lamps. The lifetime is 50,000 hours and she has a low decomposition of the light flow.
-Chip LED COB (Chip on board)
This LED technology differs from traditional LED, instead of the individual SMDs soldered to a circuit board and mounted on a heatsink, the plates are cut in a hundred small chips, with a thickness of only 250 pm. These small barely visible semiconductor crystals are directly related to a substrate of aluminium, which guarantees an optimal distribution of the heat and a production without welding. Using this technique, about 70 chips can be placed per square cm, which offers greater flexibility in technology led. This ensures a strong light output in a small area.
At the beginning of the invention of the LED, some people wondered how traditional high-power LED lamps would replace the traditional 500W or 1.000W. It is not realistic to install 20 3W LED chips to change a 500W lamp. This new technology now makes this possible, and using chips 10W, 20W, 50W and 100W even in very small sizes. In this case, the lifetime is 50,000 hours and the decomposition of the light is low.
-Explanation of the cry or index of the color reproduction.
The cry is a measure which index the quality of color produced by a lamp.
This isn’t a measure of brightness but rather an indication of alertness or how bright colors.
Manufacturers use values cry to express the quality of light of a lamp. We get the word in comparisant source of light with the same color temperature with reference to cry 100 (daylight)
The difference between the reference reflecte light and light and the lamp under test gives the value cry. Closest to value cry 100 best colors are show.
This does mean that lamps with a cry of 70 have a bad quality of light. But if compare you this lamp with a lamp of cry 80 or 90 colors will be brighter under a higher value of cry.
