NVIDIA has officially announced its new Shield Tablet K1, a tablet with an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1200×1920 pixels and a Tegra processor 2.2 GHz quad core with a GPU K1 192 core with 2 GB of RAM support Kepler architecture.
NVIDIA Shield Tablet K1 is based on Android in version 5.1.1 Lollipop and integrates 16 GB of expandable memory, front and rear cameras from 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n dual-band MIMO, Bluetooth 4.0 and assisted GPS with GLONASS. The tablet is 4 k Ultra-HD ready.
The size is 221 x 126 x 9.2 mm to 390 grams. The integrated battery is from 6700mAh.
NVIDIA Shields exclusive gaming technologies, including Tablet K1 offers NVIDIA Gamestream, which harnesses the power of the GeForce cards GTX to transmit from your computer to SHIELD games tablet, and NVIDIA ShadowPlay, which lets you record and share the games.
For all owners of Shield devices, NVIDIA offers available GEFORCE NOW with the ability to play streaming to numerous PC titles only 9.99 euros a month (the first 3 months free). In the optional equipment of SHIELD Tablet K1 are available SHIELD Wireless Controller (59.99 Euros VAT included) and coordinate (29.99 Euros VAT included).
The new SHIELD tablet K1 will be available already today in Italy on Microsoft site and ePrice.it.
