Plus Size Bazaar

Hello, ladies!

I’m back to talk about the 10th Pop Plus Size Bazaar, which happened on the day 13 this month in Sao Paulo.I was there and I loved it! I love having an event exclusively related to the plus size fashion. I love the proposal of Pop Plus Size Bazaar to bring to the public a style of plus size clothing that is hard to find around, with a younger profile, stripped, modern and stylish. Spied on!

In the Bazaar, I saw a bunch of fatties by taking advantage of the great prices and humorous of the sellers. I also saw models and bloggers of plus size clothing that almost did not find out there. The mood of the event was light and relaxed. The soundtrack was the Drag DJs Gina Yamamoto and Broken dredger. Despite the cold, it totally holds participate!

Besides the shops of plus size clothing and accessories, Plus Size Pop Bazaar offered food court, bar and some extra schedules. Dani Baccelli, Style consulting Rendace, gave tips on how to build your own style. The makeup artist Alessandra Lira embellished the customers with make up trends for spring and summer. At the end of the afternoon, happened the conversation “diversity in plus size fashion”, with the participation of journalists Vitor Angelo and Juliana and singer-songwriter Roman Law Di Dai. People, it was a cheap! There was talk about fashion journalism, prejudice from publishers and fashion magazines with the public plus size, identification of the body, trends for plus size fashion, etc. Anyway, rolled a casual chat, smart and tuned that left everyone with taste of “I want more”.

I congratulate the creator of Pop Plus Size Bazaar, Flávia During, for the excellent idea, by good taste and boldness. Wish you luck in the next editions. Thank You, Flavia!

Well, not to say that I just said well, I’m going to point out the only downside that I have observed at the event: the physical space was not plus size. Imagine a bunch of fatties (many with his companions chubs), full of bags, bumping into each other … had time congestionava. But it didn’t compromise the quality of the party.

Because that’s how I define the Pop Plus Size Bazar: a party to a public that every day you see better represented.
