The Drexel University Earle Mack School of Law was founded in 2006, when the Drexel University Board of Trustees approved the formation of a new law school. The school was named after Earle I. Mack, an alumnus and major benefactor of the university. In 2009, the school moved to its current location at 33rd and Chestnut Streets in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since then, it has become one of the most innovative law schools in the country.
