The Florida Coastal School of Law was founded in 1996 by Dennis Stone and Donald Weidner. It was the first law school in the state to be established as a for-profit institution. The school is located on Jacksonville’s Southside, near the intersection of Interstate 95 and J. Turner Butler Boulevard. It is accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS).
