Franklin Pierce Law Center was founded in 1973 by attorney and philanthropist, Frank H. Pierce. He envisioned a center that would provide students with an exceptional legal education, one that would prepare them to be both successful attorneys and responsible citizens. In its first year, the law center welcomed its inaugural class of 43 students. Since then, the school has grown exponentially in size and reputation and is now one of the top-ranked law schools in the country. The school’s curriculum focuses on providing a comprehensive legal education, emphasizing both clinical experience and theoretical knowledge. The faculty is comprised of leading legal scholars from around the globe, including experts from Harvard Law School, Yale Law School, Columbia Law School and other prestigious institutions. Furthermore, Franklin Pierce Law Center offers a variety of programs for students interested in different legal specializations such as international law or environmental law. In addition to these initiatives, the school also emphasizes experiential learning through externships with judges or internships with local organizations or government agencies; this gives students valuable hands-on experience while helping them gain valuable connections within the professional world. Finally, Franklin Pierce Law Center also hosts several conferences throughout the year on various topics related to public interest law; this provides an opportunity for students to engage with practitioners from around the world while learning about important issues related to social justice and human rights.
